Notary Public Services - Physical Presence

Any and all documents notarized by a Notary Public will be at or below Florida Statute limits. Maximum fees for notary public services are set by statute. In some cases, our notary public fee is included with our document preparation service fee.

A Legal Document Preparer who is a notary public may notarize warranty deeds and act as one of your witnesses. You are responsible for providing your other witness.

Legal Document Preparer who is a Notary Public may notarize a Will or trust. If acting as the Notary Public, the Notary Public cannot act as one of the witnesses to the instrument, you will need to ensure two witnesses not a party to the instrument are present before the instrument will be notarized.

Your signature will be required in order to notarize any document prepared by a legal document preparer; remember, a NOTARY PUBLIC is not a lawyer as in some foreign countries, which may confuse some people who have emigrated from those countries. Therefore, A NOTARY PUBLIC can not give you legal advice, nor represent you in any Court or tell you what your remedies are.

*Acceptable Forms of Identification for Notary Services are:

  • State-issued driver's license
  • State-issued identification card
  • U.S. passport issued by the U.S. Department of State
  • U.S. military ID
  • State, county, and local government IDs
  • Permanent resident card, or "green card," issued by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services
  • State-issued driver's license

Make sure you have the following before we start the notarization process:

- DO NOT SIGN anything prior notarization. As a Notary Public, we must legitimize that the person signing has been properly identified and must sign in presence of the notary.

 - Check whether or not, the signature of witnesses is required. If it is, witnesses must be present at the time of the notarization.

A Florida NOTARY PUBLIC may perform a marriage ceremony after the couple first obtains a marriage license from an authorized Florida official and may only perform such a ceremony within the geographic limits of Florida.

A legal document preparer authorized for notarizations can notarize a will or other document. If you are acting as a person authorized to notarize, you cannot act as one of the witnesses to the instrument, you must ensure that two witnesses are present, before the instrument and signature are authenticated by the proper notarization.
