Remote Online Notarization (RON)

All you need is a computer with a camera and microphone. You can have your documents notarized online remotely from the comfort of your home or office.

System Requirements:


1. INTERNET SPEED: You  must have a high speed, solid and reliable Internet connection. 


2. WEB BROWSERS:  When using the remote / online notarization system, you must ensure that you are using compatible browsers that allow access to the camera and microphone of your device, otherwise the video and audio will not work. These browsers are:   WINDOWS: Desktop: Google Chrome: version 30 or higher, Mozilla Firefox - Version 24 or higher

Android tablets: Google Chrome (latest version)  Internet Explorer or Microsoft Edge WILL NOT WORK!


APPLE / MAC: Safari (latest version), IOS - iPad Only iOS 11 or higher, and Safari browser that comes with iOS 11 or higher

SMART CELL PHONES ARE NOT A SUITABLE DEVICE FOR REMOTE ONLINE NOTARIZATION

Personal requirements:


  • Be a citizen of the United States
  • Have a state-issued driver's license or ID card (passports, military ID, school ID, or other ID do not qualify for RON)
  • Have a social security number 
  • Have a cell phone number based in the United States (NO VOIP, cable provided lines, Google Voice, MUST have a real cell phone number from a cell service provider).
  • Have at least five years of credit history in the United States. Due to identity theft in recent years, many people now have their credit information protected. If this is the case, you will NOT pass the ID verification process. You must first contact the credit bureaus to notify them that they need to access your credit report. 

  • What is remote online notarization? (RON) Remote Online Notarization.

    Remote Online Notarization, or "RON", is a 100% online document and video form notarization system that allows you to legally sign electronically and a Notary Public to notarize your documents through Internet using your camera for video and microphone. KETTY BUSQUETS is a NOTARY PUBLIC specially trained, registered and authorized as REMOTE ONLINE NOTARY to facilitate such notarization.

  • Is online notarization legal in Florida?

    Remote online notarization is now legal in Florida. On June 7, 2019, the Governor of Florida signed House Bill 409. The bill allowed remote online notarization in Florida, effective January 1, 2020

  • Ohhhh! So, I don't have to appear personally before a NOTARY PUBLIC?

    Exactly. Although you do not have to physically attend a NOTARY PUBLIC, you must ensure that you have the necessary access to use the system. You can be anywhere in the world that has a reliable Internet connection.

  • If I am outside of Florida, can my document be notarized online?

    Yes. We can notarize documents for any US citizen located anywhere in the world as long as the minimum requirements to use RON are met. Your documents will show that they were notarized in Lee County, Florida.


  • How do I know if remote / online notarization is secure?

    This type of notarization is more secure than traditional physical and paper notarizations. We are backed by the state-required technology provider, which complies with Florida's strict REMOTE ONLINE NOTARY law. Each notarial session is audio / video recorded and retained for 10 years. The identification document of each signer is analyzed to verify their identity and is further authenticated by a system called "Knowledge Based Authentication" or KBA for its acronym in English.

  • Is there an official record of the notarial session online?

    Yes, all online notarization sessions are recorded and must be kept for ten years. You could request access to that recording if you ever need it.

  • What are the requirements to use Remote Online Notarization (RON)?

    Florida is one of the 16 states that allow remote online notarization, this law details specific requirements to control and / or prevent notary fraud. If you do not meet the following requirements, RON is not an option for you, as it will not pass the identity verification. Our remote online notarization system will confirm your identity using a specific and secure system to analyze your credentials and authentication based on your knowledge. If you do not meet ALL of these requirements, unfortunately you will not qualify for remote online notarization (RON) and will have to resort to traditional notarization.

  • Do I need any special equipment or software?

    You will need a desktop, laptop, Android tablet, or iPad tablet with a working camera and microphone. These devices must be up to date with the latest version of a supported web browser. Cell phones are not suitable for remote online notarization due to their small screen size.

  • Can I use Facebook, Whats Up, Zoom or Skype for remote call video notarization?

    This is an excellent question, but sadly the answer is NO. Only technology providers approved by the State of Florida are licensed and we use such technology.


  • Do I have to be in Florida or a Florida resident to use your online / remote notarization service?

    Not necessarily. The REMOTE ONLINE NOTARY laws of the State of Florida allow your documents to be notarized remotely regardless of the location of the signer or witnesses. This practically eliminates the need to find a Florida MOBILE NOTARY PUBLIC who bills the travel time and travel distance, as well as the notarial acts they perform.   • Are these remote / online notarization services available in all states?

    No. Florida is one of the 16 states authorized for this type of notarization. We provide online notary service nationwide and for US citizens outside of the United States.


  • Do the documents I need to notarize have to be "Florida documents"?

    Not necessarily. Even if your document (s) are not related to Florida, at EASY TRAMITES we are authorized to notarize those documents.


  • Are you an office that refers the notary services by video call?

    No. If you do a Google search for "remote online notarization", you will find the information of our offices and website where we provide all our services directly to the consumer.

  • My work schedule is similar to yours and I do not have time during those hours, can you notarize my documents online after hours or at night?

    Although we are not a 24-hour service, we can accommodate sessions outside of regular hours in order to provide you with the service you deserve.


  • This service sounds very sophisticated. How much would my online notarization cost?

    YES, it is a service aimed at the new DIGITAL ERA, however, our remote notarization fee is $ 25 for the first notarial act of the signer. In case you need any additional notarization act (notarial seal) during the same online session there is a charge of $ 20 for each additional notarization.
